FAQ: What is the difference between the three NEBNext Ligation Modules?
There are 3 NEBNext Ligation modules:
1. The NEBNext Ultra II Ligation Module (#E7595) contains the ligation components designed to be used with the new Ultra II kit workflow, and should be used downstream of the NEBNext Ultra II End Repair/dA-tailing Module (#E7546). If used as designed, cleanup of the end repair/dA-tailing reaction is not required prior to use with the Ultra II Ligation Module. This combination of modules (#E7595 and #E7546) gives you the highest library yields and a simplified workflow.
2. The NEBNext Ultra Ligation Module (#E7445) contains the ligation components designed to be used with the Ultra kit workflow, and should be used downstream of the NEBNext Ultra End Repair/dA-tailing Module (#E7442). If used as designed, cleanup of the end repair/dA-tailing reaction is not required prior to use with the Ultra Ligation Module. This combination of modules (#E7445 and #E7442) gives you high library yields from a simplified workflow.
3. NEBNext Quick Ligation Module (#E6056) contains the ligation components designed to be used the NEBNext End Repair Module (#E6050) and the NEBNext dA-Tailing Module (#E6053). This combination of modules (#E6056, #E6053, and #E6050) gives you high library yields from a standard library construction workflow.
