This is the reaction buffer supplied with Taq DNA Ligase (NEB #M0208). Taq DNA Ligase requires NAD+ as a cofactor which is incorporated into the buffer. We recommend storage at -80°C to extend the half-life of NAD+. Please note that this buffer is supplied
as 4 x 1.5 ml vials.
New England Biolabs supplies a 10X reaction buffer with all of its enzymes. At a 1X concentration this reaction buffer assures optimal activity of the enzyme.
